Short Bio
Maya Horgan Famodu is MD at Ingressive Capital, a $10 Million VC fund targeting early-stage startups across Sub-Saharan Africa’s key tech markets. She also founded Ingressive for Good, a nonprofit organization with the mission to create and increase the earning power of African youth through tech training and resources for the growth of the African startup ecosystems; as well as Ingressive LLC, a market entry/market operations firm that has assisted more than 50 international companies to enter and operate across Africa, and they’ve done a collective 40+ deals on the continent.

Maya Horgan Famodu is MD at Ingressive Capital, a $10 Million VC fund targeting early-stage startups across Sub-Saharan Africa’s key tech markets. She also founded Ingressive for Good, a nonprofit organization with the mission to create and increase the earning power of African youth through tech training and resources for the growth of the African startup ecosystems; as well as Ingressive LLC, a market entry/market operations firm that has assisted more than 50 international companies to enter and operate across Africa, and they’ve done a collective 40+ deals on the continent.
She is a Forbes 30 under 30 and worked previously in private equity research and at JPMorgan after completing Cornell Prelaw Program and attending Pomona College.
Maya is an ecosystem architect and she is believed to be the youngest Black woman to launch a tech fund, and the youngest person to launch a tech fund in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is also the first solo woman to have raised a tech fund in Nigeria.
