Create your Official Accounts
These are some of the accounts you’ll need to effectively carry out your tasks as ambassadors;
Google Account: Create an official Google account for your circle using your circle name.
e.g
First Name: I4G
Last Name: FUTO
Email Address: i4gfuto@gmail.com
Date of Birth: Feel free to use your date of birth.
All other accounts must be created using your official circle email!
Instagram: Create an Instagram account using your circle Gmail account. e.g
Handle:@I4GFUTO
Name: I4GFUTO
BIO: @ingressive4good’s student ambassador community for (your school) passionate about tech in Africa. Our mission is to Help others, Add Value, Connect, and Keep growing (HACK)
Twitter: Create an Instagram account using your circle gmail account. E.g

Substack: Substack is the official platform that we approve for communicating with your community members. Use your circle gmail account to create your substack account.

How to create your Canva Account
Canva is the basic design tool for I4G Ambassadors. It contains the majority of the design templates created by the Ingressive for Good Design team. Thanks to the Canva Non-Profit Program, you have access to all premium features. This can only be accessed by your official email address. To create an account;
- Go to canva.com
- Create an Account > Put in your official circle email (i4gname@gmail.com) > Circle Name > Password
- Create an account
Your circle email will be invited to join the Ingressive for Good team on Canva where you can access all the templates that where created for you.
How to create your Substack Account
The importance of a newsletter cannot be underestimated when it is done the right way. It is advised to create a value around your content, be creative with each of your articles, and ensure the guidelines set by Ingressive for Good.
Here, we have pulled together a few essential resources for setting up your newsletter for your audience. It is important to note that you are not limited to the content on this page. You can go further by basing your research on how to get the best out of newsletters for your audience.
Your Logo
You are mandated to use the Ingressive for Good logo already provided for your institution. There are different variants, but we recommend you use the blue variant for uniformity and easy recognition.
About page
The About page is where people go to find out more about your publication. Use this space to tell your visitors why they should care about your publication. Tell them about your circle, what your newsletter is about, and how often they can expect to receive it. Use the example below and feel free to add more about your circle that is unique

Creating your first post
Creating your first post is super easy, you have to click on the create a “new post” button and you’re set. Your first post is a good place to introduce yourself. Tell your readers why you started this publication, how you got here, and what you’ll be writing about. Think of it as a mini-manifesto or mission statement.
Newsletter subscribers
You have the option to add newsletter subscribers by manually entering their email address or importing a list of email addresses. Both options are available to explore from your account dashboard > subscribers.

- You are only allowed to open 2 Social Media Accounts: Instagram and Twitter.
- Facebook and LinkedIn or any other Social Platforms are not allowed unless approved by HQ
- Keep all important information including passwords etc in a Google Doc and send to community@ingressive.org
- Make sure to confirm your institution doesn’t have these accounts already before opening these accounts.
