“My name is Galleh Solomon. I loved web development but so many things have stalled my progress
due to the pandemic. I didn’t have the resources I needed and I wasn’t in an environment with many
people to run to for help and online courses were very expensive. A friend introduced me to the community and I applied for the role of the co-ambassador. That moment was a turning point for me.
I was opportune to meet a great community of like minds where I got to learn from people with diverse experience in my field, and I got access to online tutorials for free, even scholarships. Before I4G I struggled with imposter syndrome, but with the responsibilities on my shoulder, I learned how to overcome my fears and now I can gladly say it has been an upward trajectory since joining I4G as an
ambassador.
My success today won’t have been this much but with I4G and my responsibilities as a leader, I am
learning fast and doing more. Most of all, I get to carry a lot of people (community members) with me and we all succeed together. I can say I have overcome imposter syndrome and I am fully focused on adding value to my community and my environment at large”
