Announcement of the beneficiaries of micro-scholarships at Covenant University and Babcock. Ingressive For Good seeks to formally train African tech talents in need, studying computer science, by providing scholarships to Ivy-Leagues of Africa.
This event is meant to give ambassadors the tools to understand how to manage and run an event on their own. This would include gaining knowledge on how to plan prior to the event in terms of creating a structure of event proceedings, acquiring contacts/speakers, delegating duties within the groups. This would additionally include having knowledge on how to promote the event on online social media platforms and/or emails/newsletters. Marketing is important for the success and audience pool of an event and would require content and constant posting that keeps possible participants engaged and intrigued. In addition, they would need to figure out how to make their event a resource outside of the space. This would be in the form of providing their contacts or showing links to access resources under discussion e.g Online courses, YouTube videos etc,. And finally, the workshop would give ambassadors the know-how of how to evaluate and provide feedback on the event that they did in the form of an event report. This would entail details regarding the participants who came, the topics addressed and the overall sentiment regarding participant experience and likelihood to return for more events.

Congratulations to Team Aider for winning the September edition of our community challenge. They built an automated resume generator and are currently working on perfecting their idea to appeal to the global market.
We will provide them with resources to set up a new startup company.
The purpose of our community challenges is to develop learners’ skills whilst encouraging them to identify, develop, and participate in opportunities that will benefit the local communities.
