Ambassador of the Month – Feb 2022

Every month, the I4G HQ recognizes ambassadors that are doing exceptionally well in creating beautiful experiences for their community members. For this month, the Ambassador of the month is Pomaline Moses Olanrewaju.

Lead Ambassador, I4G TASUED

When speaking with the Community Advocate, Kamaldeen on his achievements so far.

He said; “Part of the success story is that all the community members kept messaging me that they are happy to be a part of the community and that they love all the events we were organizing. Second, is all of them are now learning one tech skill or the other which I and some other guys are teaching them. These skills include UIUX, graphics, and some parts of the programming languages. The third is an online internship opportunity that came out yesterday which is kodecamp 2.0. They have been able to register for it and have been successfully onboarded. This is really great because they get to explore more than the training we do for them. And they are all happy about it and also taking bold steps towards it and to also get better.”

Pomaline is currently the only ambassador in his institution and doesn’t have a co-lead yet. He’s looking forward to having a co-lead join his team. His events and activities for his community have been delivered through the University and the community Telegram channel.

A very close runner up is Muhammad Adamu Dembo, Lead Ambassador, I4G ATBU

He shared with us the enthusiasm that came from his community members,

“Well, I had expected few attendance, say 20+ but I was amazed when I hosted 100+ attendees. Most of them are new into tech and they developed keen interest when they listened to our presentation, most especially the H.A.C.K. I planned on starting a hands-on training on biweekly order, and boom! ASUU send us home. Nevertheless, preparations are ongoing to kickstart immediately school resumes.”

We’re proud of the entire 100+ Ambassadors and we’ll continue to support them in their community building endeavours.
